The Lorica Segmentata is a type of segmented armor exclusively used during the Roman Empire. This armor is steel wide strips / plates, attached to thick leather straps, which are arranged horizontally on the body, overlapping downward. The fittings that together seek the various sections of polished brass plate fittings, adding a touch of class to this cuirass. The cuirass is attached to close on the front and back with leather straps. The upper body and shoulders are protected by additional guards on the shoulders.
